Parliamentary procedure can be intimidating to many people because they lack basic knowledge, or don't have experience using it. Yet parliamentary procedure is a valuable tool in meeting management. It can make council meetings more efficient, and it reduces the potential of actions being declared illegal or challenged for procedural deficiencies.

What You'll Learn:

  • The basics of making and amending motions
  • How to properly use the four most misused motions
  • How to apply the rules of debate to protect the rights of members, and streamline your meetings

Who Should Attend:

Anyone interested in having more orderly and efficient meetings.
