DEVELOPMENT OF THE LEAGUE’S 2013 LEGISLATIVE PROGRAM: CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

The League’s legislative policy, which is the staff’s “roadmap” to advocacy activities, is developed by city officials and ultimately approved by the TML Board of Directors.  (See article elsewhere in this edition of the Legislative Update for the policy development schedule and click here to learn about how TML staff implements policy.)  In order to allocate the League’s finite resources, volunteers are needed to serve on committees that help to develop that process.  A diverse group of volunteers ensures that League staff focuses on those core municipal issues that are truly important to all or most cities.   If you would like to volunteer, please contact JJ Rocha at jj@tml.org or 512-231-7400.
