TCEQ’S “DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS WATER PROGRAM”: AGENCY SEEKS INPUT

House Bill 451, which recently became law, requires the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to establish the Don’t Mess with Texas Water Program to help prevent illegal dumping that affects Texas surface water. TCEQ is seeking stakeholder input as part of the implementation of the program.

Specifically, TCEQ is inviting interested city officials to attend an open stakeholder meeting on Tuesday, November 8, at 1:00 p.m. in Austin.  TCEQ staff will be asking for input and preferences on the development of this program.  Please contact the following TCEQ staff member with questions:
