FINAL NOTICE: DON’T ALLOW YOUR CITY’S EMINENT DOMAIN AUTHORITY TO EXPIRE

Legislation passed during the 2011 legislative session requires cities to file a form with the comptroller identifying each city’s statutory eminent domain authority. Failure to file the form before the end of this year may cause that authority to expire.  (Any other municipal entity with eminent domain power must also file to retain its authority.)  For detailed information, go to
