H.B. 4 (Ritter), relating to the creation and funding of the state water implementation fund for Texas to assist the Texas Water Development Board in the funding of certain water-related projects.  Passed the Senate. 

H.B. 824 (Callegari), relating to a volume-based exemption from reporting requirements for accidental discharges or spills from wastewater facilities.  Passed the House.

H.B. 857 (Lucio), relating to the frequency of water audits by certain retail public utilities.  Passed the House.

H.B. 1554 (Rodriguez), relating to the authority of a municipality to file a lien for the costs of abatement of a floodplain ordinance violation.  Passed the House.

H.B. 2259 (Moody), relating to circumstances under which a vacancy on the governing body occurs in certain municipalities.  Passed the House.

S.B. 4 (Fraser), relating to the administration and functions of the Texas Water Development Board.  Passed the Senate.

S.B. 163 (Van de Putte), relating to an exemption from ad valorem taxation of the residence homestead of the surviving spouse of a member of the armed services of the United States who is killed in action.  Passed the Senate.

S.B. 1110 (Nichols), relating to the purposes and designation of a transportation reinvestment zone.  Passed the House.

S.B. 1400 (Estes), relating to the municipal and county regulation of air guns.  Passed the Senate.  (Note: this bill would prevent cities from regulating air guns, other than regulations relating to discharge within the city, at locations other than shooting ranges. Cities that regulate air guns other than to prevent their discharge should contact their senator immediately.)

S.B. 1510 (Hinojosa), relating to the public notice required to be provided by certain taxing units before adopting an ad valorem tax rate.  Passed the Senate. 

S.B. 1533 (Carona), relating to municipal sales and use tax remittances by certain retailers.  Passed the Senate.

S.B. 1596 (Zaffirini), relating to the annexation by a municipality of territory of an emergency services district.  Passed the Senate.

S.B. 1678 (Deuell), relating to the eligibility, disbursement, and reporting requirements of the Major Events trust fund and the Events trust fund.  Passed the Senate.
